Jungles just like to grow in tropical climates. You can bomb it and burn it off, or a typhoon might rip through and turn that green to brown, but the Jungle grows back. This is the indigenous people’s of Saipan’s island, including the jungles. And the indigenous people’s tradition is to ask the spirits of those-that-came-before, Taotao Mo’na, for permission to enter or pass, by asking out loud actualy. And check with the indigenous people, who are alive, who might own that particular area too, or may have leased it from them. This yard, with the swings, is owned and maintained by my landlord. The jungle beyond has some trails from this yard, that I was told, lead up to other houses you can’t see through the jungle, for people to cut through to go to market. There should be a pic below of Kit-E Calico leading me into one of the jungle paths.

The craziest cat in the jungle today.
