That’s what I forgot: the sand is finer, and sort of feels like it’s crunching a little under your feet, maybe because it’s coral sand, I don’t know. And the ocean temperature just seemed normal, not hot not cold and kindof softer in a way that is hard to explain. Anyway hardly any waves in the lagoon at Micro Beach, but very light wind chop and maybe a jet ski wake.
Housing is different than on the mainland in various respects and my plan varies as well. The general plans of a shorter term until or unless I find a better place will work no matter what. I just might not be in the dream spot right away. Idealy I’ll have either ocean view from my place or my gardens. Both I could live with. The place I jump to in order to avoid paying hotel prices for however long I need to find my particular spot, is fairly simple, it’s the longer term place that is more specific than most people I suppose. Anyway being in a rush isn’t the way to go, so by the end of this week I’ll have a better idea of which at least first area might be a go.
I’ll just have to add to the start of the week; gathering a five gallon jug of water since a typhoon might spin up this way by mid week, don’t know. Maybe stock up on some food too. And charge up those backup batteries, ummm car usb charger too.
