When I play the whole pattern up and down the neck, and starting in different places it helps to remember how it all goes together.
The old guitars are still around. The red strat guts just came in and somebody keeps the fender elite flame tuned through the years.
The shred mistress in Hollywood taught me some guitar theory and must of nudged me to modes as she always encouraged jamming/moving around/experimenting.
