Perspectives are people too

The first video points out cognitive dissonances and how we need to be individually empowered. The second video points out different perspectives with ways sailors know them. I hope you try to understand.

Boating is an active lifestyle. It compares in mostly odd but important to understand ways to how most people live. Even the names of all the basics are different: kitchen is galley, floor is sole etc. First it’s being more effected by nature therefore living closer to nature. Therefore the rules of everything revolve around that: nature.

Rentals are generally kept up by the owners of the property. So when you live there and you own it too then you understand why people make up the stupid sayings of throwing money away for nothing.

The realities are that wether it’s a wooden house or a fiberglass sailboat: if you fashion the upkeep (repairs and maintenance) then you make out much better than a renter verses someone that just pays someone else to do it.

I’m not talking about a housekeeper or yard person I’m talking about if the plumbing, electrical or roof is failing. You know, the stuff that makes it livable. Most people don’t do much of those those things in thier house, rental or not. Self sufficient boaters do.

This couple in the video also point out how much safer it is to rely on your own ability to fashion repair and maintenance and how being thusly self sufficient plays into how you live because you work the whole of it yourself.
