Matthew Cooke as he creates his video series. The first video (linked here) describes it and I give my perspectives too.

Matthew suggested jotting down stuff through his video series here so I did before seeing the first one on “home”.

Here’s what I came up with and I’ll follow that up with a brief synopsis of what I think of Matthew and we’ll go from there.

My notes for the first word “Home”.

Peace starts at home. It is where it is practiced, expected/demanded/confronted and resolved. Even when there seems to be no answer; peace must occur there in the absence of resolve. And through the miracle of grace be somehow lived… therefore in a state of resolve.
Temporary as the moment is and our short experience as human beings we hold on to our singular grip of peace as it’s home within each of us.
From that place home: peace of us all,  connected to all of us is: the vast, unnameable everything/nothing that looks through our eyes it created/knowing it’s creation.

On Matthew: Seen a bunch of his talks through the years and always enjoyed his ideas that resonated strongly with me.

As Matthew suggested this seems like a good opportunity to write an album and I already have the music and so I suppose some of my own words there for the first song so I guess I better lay that down.
