Tonight at the beach

How many decades has it been and I’m still glad I found where I belong.

Tonight I’m encouraging what is it 80% of people to get the first vaccine they can so we can see about getting ahead of the virus that we’ve been horrible at dealing with.

I thought I’d be last in line even though most of my adult life I’ve been a therapist working directly with patients. Apparently my luck had changed since I am “Phase 1a, tier 3” eligability by virtue of that fact.

So I got the Pfizer first dose this week and I’m strengthening up to see patients again. It’s a free for all during my strengthening phase unless you are rich because I am not relatively.

    • Thank you for the encouragement. Of course it wasn’t a leap though. I’m not an anti-vaxer.
I had a another long discussion with an anti-vaxer recently. I understand that a large portion of people especially in the U.S. don’t want to take one. They have many reasons. From all sorts of fears like distrust of: government, for profit medicine, and the list goes on. You’ve probably heard the one where Bill Gates wants to microchip you, or rich people want to kill the poor etc. The lunatic fringe has lots of them that would be funny if a bunch of people didn’t believe them.
So since so many may not take a vaccine it will take even longer to beat covid. I’m doing my part to stop letting the virus have the better of all of us.
Here’s my rant to anti-vaxer people or people that are worried about getting vaccinated: Learn about overcoming the various kinds of fears you have or whatever words you want to use for why you are going to make the virus last longer for me and everyone else because you ain’t took it yet. Obvious it is fear that makes most people who don’t want to take it, not want to take a vaccine. Big problem many of them won’t even admit that they’re afraid of anything they’ll say it’s because they don’t trust the the government or whatever which boils down to their effing afraid. Hey, God said: fear not. It’s cowardice as well. People want to wait around and see if other people get sick first. Well how many years do you want to wait till you take it to see how many people might have had a problem with it. So far many millions have taken it and it’s not a big problem. How long do you want to wait. Because however long you want to wait that’s how long the rest of the world might have to wait too because if most people don’t get vaccinated it’ll sick around that much longer. AlsoThe longer you wait the more mutations/variants are probable to come out which may be even worse than it is now. So anybody that isn’t taking it is gambling with everyone else’s lives as well while they’re being fearful cowards.
